I don't think I could go on living if I don't believe in true love.

It would be like saying that there's no God.

And it would feel as if I'm climbing up the stairs in the dark.

But, I could definitely live knowing that the 'love at first sight' phenomenon does not exist.

Because someone once told me that he loved me at first sight

Then he got bored and moved on to my best friend.

Maybe it's different for others, maybe not.

Notes full of romanticism,
They permeate the subway air.

The old man with a harmonica,
he plays with flair.

Toss a golden coin,
give a little smile.

But then, I feel lost, a little lost for a while.

Alone in the faceless crowd,
I see

A woman
clad in a vermillion saree.

She looks down at her child with kohl-lined eyes,
that look of hot and cold seemed to suffice.

And then, i feel like the child,
a little lost for a while.

I was not lost - for very long, no.
This is because your letters unfold

They read like a map
A map to my heart

And oh! the laughing starts
